Slack Integration

This guide shows two ways to connect Slack to Testifly:

After the connection is set up, you can use Slack channels for notifications and collaboration in Testifly. When you use Connect As Agent, you can also use Testifly-related Slack app actions directly from your Slack workspace (for example, sharing updates, receiving project events, or interacting with Testifly workflows).

Before you start, make sure you have:

• A Slack workspace where you can install apps
• Permission to connect integrations in your Testifly project
• Permission to approve OAuth app installation in Slack

1. Connect to Slack

Start the agent connection in Testifly

1. Open your project in Testifly.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Open Integrations.
4. In the Slack card, click Connect Slack.

Authorize Testifly in Slack

1. Sign in to Slack if prompted.
2. Review the Slack app authorization screen.
3. Select the workspace where you want to install the Testifly Slack app.
4. Approve the requested permissions.
5. Wait for Slack to redirect you back to Testifly.

Finish setup after the redirect

1. Return to Settings -> Integrations in Testifly if needed.
2. In the Slack card, click Edit connection.
3. Choose the default channel or notification target settings.
4. Click Save and check connection.

After that, the Slack card should show the connected workspace, selected defaults, and latest connection result.

4. What Connect As Agent enables

• You can trigger or receive Testifly-related interactions from Slack app workflows
• You can get notification and updated into your Slack channels when certain events happen in Testifly (e.g. test run completed, new comment on a test, etc.)
