Notifications and Emails
Testifly keeps you informed by email, and by Slack if you connect it. You get emails when background work finishes, when a run ends and when something blocks Testifly. You can choose which run and automation emails you receive.
How do I change my notification preferences?
- Click the three dots next to your name at the bottom of the side menu.
- Choose My account.
- Open the Notification Preferences tab.
- Tick or clear the boxes.
- Click Save.

Preferences belong to your user account and apply to every project you are a member of. Until you save preferences for the first time, you receive all of these emails.

What does Testifly post to Slack?
When Slack is connected and a notification channel is chosen, Testifly posts a summary of each finished run to that channel. The summary shows the run ID, the overall status, the start time, the number of tests in each status (including regressed and resolved tests) and an Open run link. The Slack message is sent after the email. If Slack cannot be reached, the email is still sent.
